Welcome to “ye olde” website of the Pawtuxet Rangers. The Rangers were chartered in 1774 to protect the village of Pawtuxet (Cranston/Warwick line) in Rhode Island. The primary mission of the company today is to perpetuate history by participating in school programs, parades, battle reenactments, encampments, ceremonial programs and more. Our group consists of people with an interest in history, music, clothing, cooking and more. If you would like more information, are interested in becoming a member or inviting us to participate in a function, please email us at pawtuxetrangers@aol.com.
This year promises to be busy as we already have many events on our schedule including St. Patrick’s, Memorial Day, Gaspee Days, Fourth of July parades, social events, musket practice and shoots, and more. This will truly be a grand year and we look forward to recreating the colonial history that has made this country great! “The Past Is Our Present To You!”
On behalf of all of us in the Pawtuxet Rangers, thank you for visiting! Huzzah!
Colonel Ronald W. Barnes
